How to enhance Azure Networking knowledge and Pass Azure Network Engineer Exam(AZ-700)
Networking skills are always helpful . We should have basic knowledge of networking irrespective of your job role . Even if you don't want to give certification exam you should atleast have basic idea about below topics.

Recently , I cleared AZ-700 and wanted to share few things which can help to pass the exam and could enhance your networking skills .

How to approach exam preparation :
- It’s always good to start with Microsoft websites. You can check below link to understand the scope of the exam.
Everyone recommend to start and learn from Microsft Learn website and use Microsoft documentation but sometimes it might be tricky and time consuming process. So here is the easy way
2. Find out best tutors on learning websites. I find Alan Rodrigues courses about Azure are quite good . His ability to simplify very complex topics is amazing . Even if you have very basic knowledge or no knowledge , his courses will be helpful . In this case , You can check his AZ-700 course. I would recommend this course even if you are not planning for certification.

3. Check some practice tests . Its very important that you give 2–3 practice test before final exam .
I find Whizlabs test papers quite good . In my experience , you should give final exam only if you are getting over 75 % over few tests . If you are getting less than 75 % , its better to revisit areas which you find challenging.
My Experience :
I got around 50 questions in the exam and only got 100 minutes . My first questions were long case studies which took a lot of time and I had very less time left after case studies . Few questions were tricky and time consuming . I would highly suggest be mindful about time for this exam and do not get stuck with questions .
Conclusion:
- Go with Alan Rodrigues course over Udemy . Do it twice if you are new to networking concepts. Don't forget to do hands on . Sometimes you might feels you understand but hands on always make things more clear.
- Give 2–3 Practice tests from whizlabs.
- Be mindful about the time , case studies can be tricky and can take lots of your time.
- In the end , It does not matter if you pass/fail/skip the certification exam . What matters is your understanding . So focus on your learning , Certification Badges will flash automatically.
